We're celebrating our 80th anniversary with a Charter Dinner starting at
6:30 for 7pm on Friday 16th November 2012 in the Old Parish
Church Centre, Kirkwynd, CUPAR. For further information contact "charter" as
for the president or secretary above.
Dr Jazz raised £380 for Everyman at a further Lunchtime Jazz event
at Watts on 11th March.
The Help for Heroes event at the Corn Exchange on Thursday 3rd November
raised £1415.55 for the charity.
Our annual Coffee Morning, held in the Corn Exchange on Saturday 6th August,
raised £1513 for the Charity Fund.
Following on the success of the January event, Dr Jazz held another Sunday Lunchtime jazz event at Watts on Sunday 10th April, this time specifically in aid of Samaritans.
Including the proceeds from a raffle organised by the Samaritans, this raised a
total of £646.
The first issue of the club's Bulletin was issued in March 2011. Distributed to
various local businesses and organisations, the 1-page bulletin is intended to
raise the profile of the club in the area, and to encourage potential new
members.
The musical evening featuring The Ruff Diamonds
in the Corn Exchange, Cupar on Friday 21st Jan 2011 raised over £1500 for MS
Society Scotland, and the band has been booked for a similar event next January.
The Sunday Lunchtime Jazz event at Watts on the 16th January 2011, featuring
Dr Jazz, raised £265 for the Rotary Club's Charity Account.
The Fashion Show, held on Thursday 21st October at the Corn Exchange in
conjunction with Scotts Ladieswear of Cupar raised more than £3000 for
the Adamson Hospital Community Cafe and Cupar in Bloom. Click here for details.
Starting from Wednesday 11th August 2010, our meetings
have taken place at 5:45 for 6:00 pm at Watts of Cupar,
Station Road, CUPAR, KY15 5HX. (01334-657938). It's on
